A symbol of strength and sensuality, Diesel’s Bad embodies the bold spirit of men who love to live without limits.
Bad, the naughty boy from Diesel.
Bad, a decidedly masculine scent
Of course, the undisputed masculinity of Bad can be felt right down to the bottle itself. The bottle features a rectangular shape with sharp, clean edges that exude a distinctly masculine vibe. What’s more, this vessel boasts a texture reminiscent of leather. But don’t be fooled—it’s nothing of the sort! In reality, its surface is made of glass finely etched using a technique developed by the Pochet du Courval workshops. Its name is proudly displayed in transparency, allowing us to glimpse the coppery hue of its fragrance. This scent was created by a duo of perfumers: Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. Bad is a fragrance that is immediately invigorating, opening with bold citrus notes. What’s more, this energy is further accentuated by the presence of spices. Similarly, bergamot helps give the composition a particularly sharp edge. Then comes one of the most iconic ingredients in men’s perfumery: lavender. This quintessentially Mediterranean plant imparts an aromatic quality before giving way to the delightfully unexpected presence of caviar. The salty quality of this ingredient is then softened by a refined hint of iris. In other words, and to put it vividly, Bad is like a stream of invigorating salt water flowing over a man’s erotic body.
The new fragrance from Diesel
In order to create this new fragrance, Diesel enlisted a duo of perfumers, Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm. Together, they have created a sort of olfactory game of seduction. It begins with invigorating top notes based on citrus fruits. What’s more, this “exciting rush” is further enhanced by spices. Bergamot, meanwhile, revives this spicy burst with a sharp freshness. Here, it is paired with cardamom and the aromatic scent of lavender. Undoubtedly, Bad is a particularly masculine fragrance. What’s more, a luxuriously unexpected ingredient adds a more provocative and erotic touch to the blend. Caviar makes its entrance, evoking “a trickle of sweat on a man’s chiseled body.” ” Then, tobacco further enriches the blend with its rugged, virile notes. The composition concludes with the warm presence of iris root. As for the bottle, the new fragrance from Diesel is contained in a bottle clad in a biker leather jacket. In reality, this texture resembles leather, but it is actually micro-glass engraved using a technique developed by Pochet du Courval. The transparent Bad logo is inscribed in the center, revealing the coppery color of the liquid inside.
