Clarins supports the “Plastic Odyssey” project, a 25-meter catamaran that runs exclusively on energy generated from plastic waste collected at each port of call. The waste is sorted and recycled on board, and non-recyclable materials are then converted into fuel to power the ship’s engines. The expedition is scheduled to begin in 2020 and will last three years.
