Organic shikakai—an extract from the seeds of the "Acacia concinna" tree native to Southeast Asia—has been traditionally used in India for thousands of years. This extract is particularly renowned for its exceptional Ayurvedic properties for skin and hair care. The caramel-colored liquid soap provides optimal cleansing for the entire body, with soothing and relaxing properties for both body and mind.
The Organic Sugar Liquid Soaps are formulated with a base of organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic palm kernel oil, hemp oil, and organic jojoba oil. They are, of course, also free of synthetic preservatives, petrochemical-derived ingredients, synthetic foaming agents, and thickeners. The creamy lather is the result of a specific blend of natural ingredients and expertise, validated by over 150 years of experience. Only the finest vegetable oils, sourced from organic farming, are used in the production of our soaps. The compliance of our products with fair trade standards is regularly verified and validated by the renowned Swiss certification body, IMO.

If you use organic sugar soap to wash your hair, we recommend rinsing it afterward with a slightly acidifying conditioner.
