A fresh new take on a woody aquatic fragrance for men

Made with 95% naturally derived ingredients and French alcohol, Issey Salt is a fresh, woody aquatic fragrance. A vegan fragrance in which the power of salt is revealed through intense, masculine woody notes.

With this new eau de toilette, perfumer Quentin Bisch has succeeded in giving odorless salt a scent.
On a journey from the sea to the land, this vibrant fragrance unfolds through two olfactory themes.
The salty accord evokes the sea through a vibrant blend of salts. Derived from natural sources, seaweed blends with oak moss—a type of algae that has adapted to life on land—thus creating a link to the fragrance’s second olfactory accord.

Enhancing the freshness of the salty accord, sparkling notes of ginger complement the woody heart. The woody notes reveal their intensity, lending body and texture to the fragrance. Natural sand vetiver blends with natural cedarwood, an upcycled ingredient derived from sawdust produced during furniture manufacturing.

The invigorating interplay between salty and woody notes enhances the fragrance, creating a raw and powerful masculinity.

A sleek, minimalist fragrance bottle
The timeless, minimalist fragrance bottle captures the light and power of salt. The creator of this bottle, internationally renowned designer Yokujin Yoshioka, has previously collaborated directly with Mr. Miyake and explores the crystallization process.
The light gray hue of the fragrance is visible through the transparent bottle, which is made from 20% recycled glass*, and evokes the salt at the heart of the fragrance. At the bottom of the bottle, a half-sphere symbolizes strength and masculinity.

In harmony with the fragrance, the case features a natural gray hue that evokes the purity of salt, while the matte finish echoes the texture of salt crystals. For the first time, the case contains 10% upcycled seaweed, as well as materials sourced from FSC™-certified, responsibly managed forests and other controlled resources.

Issey Salt is available in two sizes, 50 ml and 100 ml, as well as a 150 ml refill. Made in France.
