We recreate this effect by applying colors with different finishes to the face to give the skin a natural glow.
As a French makeup artist, Laura Mercier is famous for creating what she calls the “Bonne Mine” concept. The result goes beyond the usual sun-kissed look: the skin appears naturally glowing, luminous, and infused with a warm radiance. Today, Laura makes this coveted, quintessentially French look easy to achieve with Bronze Color Infusion.
Apply either Laura's quick "Bonne Mine" technique in one step, which blends the two shades, or the traditional "Bonne Mine" technique for a more targeted application, using each shade separately.
TECHNIQUES
HEALTHY GLOW IN ONE STEP (MIXED APPLICATION):
Simply swirl the Angled Cheek Contour Brush through both shades, tap off any excess product onto the back of your hand, then apply to the high points and center of the face.
TRADITIONAL HEALTHY GLOW TECHNIQUE (APPLIED SEPARATELY):
Sculpt
Using the Angled Cheek Contour Brush, apply the matte Sculpt shade to your cheeks, temples, and forehead.
Use the remaining color on the brush to sweep across the center of the face, including the nose.
Glow
Next, apply the Glow shade to your cheeks and the center of your face, including your nose.
EXPERT TIPS:
•For best results, apply after setting your foundation with Translucent Loose Setting Powder or Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur.
•Apply a small amount of Bronze Color Infusion to the crease of your eyelid to give your eyes that same sun-kissed glow.
•To complete the Healthy Glow look, apply Color Infusion Blush to the tops of your cheekbones for the ultimate glow.
