PRODUCT COLLECTION AND RETURN

For best results with powdered products:

- Press or swirl the brush into the pressed powder, or dip it into the loose powder to pick up the product.
- Next, press the brush against the back of your hand to work the powder into the bristles. This will help distribute the powder evenly and minimize fallout.
- Gently tap the brush once or twice on the back of your hand to remove any excess product.
- For flat-bristled brushes, apply the product by pressing down and then blend it in.
- For round-tipped brushes, apply the product using sweeping motions and swirl to blend.

For best results with cream or liquid products:

- Place a small amount of product on the back of your hand and pick up a little with the brush.
- Next, press the brush against the back of your hand to work the cream into the bristles. This will help distribute the product evenly.
- Gently tap the brush once on the back of your hand to remove any excess product.
- For flat-tipped brushes, apply with firm pressure and blend by smoothing.
- For round-tipped brushes, apply using sweeping motions and blend with wider brushes; rotate the brush to blend with smaller ones.

HAND POSITION AND GRIP: for precise and detailed application

- Hold the brush in the middle of the handle or closer to the ferrule, between your thumb and middle finger.
- For better control, use your index finger to gently press against the handle, which will act as a "guide" during application. You should feel as though you're balancing the brush.

HAND POSITION AND GRIP: for blending and diffusing

- Hold the brush loosely closer to the end of the handle with your thumb, index finger, and middle finger.
- Use your wrists rather than your fingers to guide the brush; this will give you a more "painterly" result.

PRO TIPS

- For powder products, use a lighter touch. Let the brush follow the contours of the skin.
- For cream or liquid products, hold the brush as usual and guide it to where you want it to go.
- Start by applying a very thin layer of the product, then add more if necessary.

BRUSH CARE

- Wash them if necessary with a mild shampoo and lukewarm water.
- To protect the bristles of your brushes, clean them in the direction of the bristles using a sweeping motion; never “swirl” them or rub them vigorously against a surface.
- Rinse thoroughly. Gently squeeze out the excess water, working from the roots to the ends.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
- Gently comb the bristles back into their original shape.
- Let them air dry on a flat surface. Do not stand the brushes upright to dry them.
- When traveling, pack your brushes separately from other makeup products to protect the bristles from bending and fraying.
