A tangy freshness.
From time to time, Guerlain felt the need to offer its customers fresh fragrances and tonics suitable for any time of day. L’Eau de Cologne Impériale and L’Eau de Cologne du Coq were among them, and in 1920, this Citrus Blossom Water, created by Jacques Guerlain, is based on an old family formula.
This citrus-scented fragrance, with its lemony notes, evokes all the magic of the Mediterranean. For this Imperial commission, Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain has teamed up with the prestigious glassmaker Pochet du Courval, and together, feature a now-iconic bottle adorned with 69 bees, symbols of the Empire and now a hallmark of Guerlain’s “Eaux” collection.
The fragrance:
Citrus. Pure, tangy, crisp.
Citrus Blossom Water was inspired by a trip that Jacques Guerlain produced on the Riviera. Exquisitely subtle, fresh, and tangy, it possesses the secret sensuality of Mediterranean scents.
Drawing inspiration from the citron, Jacques Guerlain has created a refreshing, tangy, lemony, and invigorating fragrance—perfect for feeling great at any time of day.
