“The dense, powdery texture of Rouge Pur Couture The Slim, combined with its intense shades, requires perfect definition—something that’s very difficult to achieve with a round lipstick. Professional makeup artists have a little secret: they draw a square shape around the Cupid’s bow before applying the color. I’ve simplified this process by developing a square-shaped lipstick, which helps women draw a clean line themselves. To add volume to the lips, I start at the center of the upper lip, using the corners of the lipstick to clearly define the Cupid’s bow. Then I apply the lipstick outward using the sides of the applicator to precisely define the contours of the upper and lower lips.
