1. Spray distance
Spray from about 8 inches away from the skin (or hair or clothing).
This ensures that the spray is evenly distributed as microdroplets and prevents concentrated “spots.”
2. Application medium

o On the skin: preferably after showering, on skin that is still slightly damp or well-moisturized, so that the fragrance adheres better.
o On hair: Be careful not to spray too close, as some formulas contain alcohol, which can dry out your hair.
o On clothing, textiles, and pillows: This is an option, but test it on a small area first to make sure it doesn’t leave stains or cause discoloration.
3. Strategic Areas
Spray it on the body’s “pulse points” (wrists, neck, behind the ears) to help the fragrance spread, but don’t overdo it. The point of a body mist is to achieve a light, subtle scent—not an overpowering fragrance like an eau de parfum.
4. Avoid using on freshly shaved or irritated skin
Because many body mists contain alcohol, avoid applying them to freshly shaved or irritated skin to prevent a stinging sensation.
5. Sun exposure
If you will be exposed to the sun after applying the mist, apply it only to covered areas or be sure to use sunscreen to reduce the risk of photosensitivity.
6. Storage
Keep your body mist away from heat and light. This helps preserve the fragrance’s scent quality.
7. Fragrance layering
For longer-lasting results (since mists tend to fade more quickly), you can layer them over neutral or compatible products:

o Apply an unscented body cream or oil before using the mist (on slightly damp skin).

8. Frequency of application
