By selecting bacterial strains from the Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium genera, D-LAB provides the probiotics that most closely resemble the human gut microbiota.
Bifidobacterium bifidum: Known for boosting immunity and adhering to the intestinal mucosa. According to studies on B. bifidum, its role is to preserve intestinal integrity by protecting the mucus layer lining the intestinal epithelial cells. The presence of this strain may also support the growth of other species of bifidobacteria, which are beneficial to the body.
Lactobacillus acidophilus: Known for promoting digestive comfort. It also helps reduce certain food intolerances.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus: Known for being particularly effective and recommended for children to support their digestive and immune systems.
Lactobacillus casei: Studied for its role in maintaining healthy joints and bones.
