How do you light a candle?
Before lighting your scented candle, place it on a heat-resistant surface. Make sure the wick is straight, then light it with a lighter or a match.
How can you make your candle last longer?
Each time you use the candle, let it burn for no more than 2 hours. This will melt the wax on the surface and prevent a hollow from forming around the wick. To avoid burns and black marks, never let the lit wick come into contact with the edge of the candle. Make sure the wick is straight so that the wax melts evenly.
How do you blow out a candle?
To extinguish your candle: using a candle snuffer, dip the wick into the hot wax, then straighten it before the wax hardens. Do not blow out the candle. Before each use, it is best to trim the wick to 5 mm to ensure optimal burning.
Does the glass container of the candle get hot?
Like all burning candles, the glass container will become hot after a few hours of use. There is no risk to the surface or the furniture on which your candle is placed. We still recommend waiting for the candle to cool before moving it and keeping it out of reach of children and pets.
