How do you use a scented candle?
Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface. Make sure the wick is straight, then light it with a lighter or a match. Each time you use the candle, let it burn for at least 3 to 4 hours until all the vegetable wax has melted on the surface. This will prevent the candle from hollowing out and forming a well around the wick. Never let the lit wick touch the edge of the candle, and make sure the wick is straight and centered before extinguishing it. This ensures the candle wax burns evenly.
How do you blow out a candle?
Simply dip the lit wick into the liquid wax. This will immediately extinguish the candle, leaving no smoke or odor. Then straighten the wick.
Why trim a candle wick?
Before each use, trim the wick to 5 mm to ensure optimal burning. If the wick is too long, the flame may produce black smoke.
Does the glass container of the candle get hot?
Like all burning candles, the glass container will become hot after a few hours of use. There is no risk to the surface or the furniture on which your candle is placed. We still recommend waiting for the candle to cool before moving it and keeping it out of reach of children and pets.
