THE CREATION
Created by Christine Nagel, a perfumer from Hermès, eau de toilette A Garden in Cythera is an astonishing garden—neither green nor flowery, but… golden. It is the embodiment of an olfactory journey through the Peloponnese that leads to Kythera, a pristine Greek island that has inspired countless artists.

THE AROMATIC NOTES
A citrusy and woody fragrance, the eau de toilette A Garden in Cythera combines the enveloping quality of grasses with the strength of olive wood and the tenderness of fresh pistachios.

THE PURPOSE
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle draws inspiration from the lines of vintage car headlights. The glass comes alive with a luminous yellow gradient, echoing the sun-kissed fragrance. On the case, artist Elias Kafouros sketches a colorful landscape of his homeland: golden grass, the green of olive trees, the pink of fresh pistachios, and, in the background, the blue of the sea.
