For a natural look: apply the eyebrow gel in the direction of the hairs, combing them from bottom to top.
For a "lamination" effect: Apply the eyebrow gel against the grain, starting from the tail of the eyebrows and working toward the center of the face. Then comb in the direction of hair growth, from bottom to top, for a lifting effect.
