Legend has it that Odysseus traveled to Corsica, found immortelle oil there, anointed his body with it, and, thanks to it, became a demigod. Immortelle oil was believed to be the elixir of the gods. It was known for its ability to reverse the ravages of time. Naturally, I became interested in this oil—the quintessential anti-aging ingredient. I knew that French aromatherapists, after studying it, had discovered its extraordinary therapeutic qualities and remarkable regenerative power, as it stimulates the growth of new cells. All women dream of having shiny hair, which is why I examined the effectiveness of skin serums and lightweight oils used in high-end skincare products. Recently, there have been some truly interesting developments in cosmetic research regarding oils. New studies show that hair and skin absorb oils better than lotions.
