In 1862, Armand Roger and Charles Gallet inherited the original formula for Aqua Mirabilis, a blend of distilled medicinal plants known for their health and beauty benefits. Drawing on this heritage of distillers, they created the first Beauty Ritual (fragrance and sensory skincare), enriched with precious distilled essences. As official suppliers to the most prestigious royal courts, they opened the Boutique du Bonheur on Rue Saint Honoré in Paris.
