The Terracotta Golden Dunes bronzing powder collection captures the myriad shades of the Moroccan desert dunes bathed in sunlight. Guerlain has partnered with the Aït Manos workshops to create three exclusive cases inspired by zellige, the traditional art of ornamental mosaic.
Terracotta, a must-have in makeup Guerlain, Europe’s No. 1 brand of bronzing and natural-looking glow powders¹ continues its endless reinvention with a limited edition featuring both a new compact and a redesign of its iconic case: Terracotta Golden Dunes.
This new exclusive collection reinterprets the original legend of Terracotta powder, launched by Guerlain in 1984: capturing the myriad shades of the Moroccan desert dunes, bathed in sunlight.
It is this image of the sun shaping the contours of the dunes that inspired the innovative compaction of Terracotta Golden Dunes. The unique harmony of this collection is available in three new, redesigned cases, all of which are refillable.
Guerlain has teamed up with the Aït Manos workshops to design this trio of exclusive jewelry boxes. Carrying on a centuries-old tradition, this Moroccan workshop is dedicated to modernizing an exceptional Moroccan craft: zellige, a traditional ornamental mosaic made of colored earthenware tiles.
These exceptional zellige patterns have been paired with a colorful marbled print that echoes the hues of semi-precious stones. Each of these refillable cases evokes a Moroccan desert:
Blue Daklha: a lapis lazuli-inspired blue highlighted against a red geometric pattern, in a composition accented with sky blue and white.
Red Zagora: the contrast between garnet red and a duo of yellows in a pattern shaped like a stylized sun.
Green Agafay: Jade green is the dominant color in this design, which features a star-shaped pattern set against a gradient of greens.

For a sun-kissed look, apply blush to the cheekbones and eyelids. Enhance the sun-kissed effect with bronzer shades in the hollows of the cheeks, on the forehead, and along the jawline. Apply highlighter to the highlights: the tops of the cheekbones, the inner corners of the eyes, and the brow bone.
