Origins:
This product was created by accident on a beach in Malaysia during a photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. I was experimenting with the “salt, sun, and sand” concept, which gave everyone’s hair an amazing look. On the beach, a wave had washed away my hair gel, along with my eyeshadowfrom the makeup artist. The salt water and eyeshadow had contaminated my hair product, but since I was short on time, I had to apply it to the model’s hair anyway. Surprisingly, the powder from the eyeshadow helped the gel dry faster, and I achieved the results I needed.
With this product, we’ve drawn on the wonders of nature to create the very latest in cosmetic technology. Back in the lab, we blended marine minerals (for the salt), eyeshadow (for the sand), and a quick-drying agent (for the sun). The result is a product that gives you “the sun in a bottle,” with everything you need to look sensational. The beauty of this product is that it transforms all hair types.
HAIR.RESORT is one of the styling products I use most often on shoots. A key component of our TEXTURE regimen, it’s ideal for hard-to-style hair. It helps you achieve volume and texture, but be warned: don’t be afraid to be bold. To achieve a pronounced beachy look, perfectly tousled, use this product on slightly damp hair and apply it to the roots, mid-lengths, and ends; scrunch the hair before blow-drying. Finish by adding a small amount of HAIR.RESORT to ensure long-lasting hold.
Apply to damp or dry hair, scrunch it up, and you're all set!
