Founded in 1888, LALIQUE is one of the jewels of the French crystal industry. René Lalique, also known as the inventor of modern jewelry, went on to become a master of “the art of glassmaking.” René Lalique created extraordinary bottles for leading perfumers, particularly in close collaboration with François Coty. Over time, his name became a powerful symbol of unique expertise, synonymous with refinement, excellence, and creativity, acclaimed for its artistic style. When, in 1992, his granddaughter, Marie-Claude Lalique, decided to create her own fragrance, the initiative was more than justified. This natural progression would allow for the union of authentic French perfumery with the expertise of the LALIQUE Master Glassmakers.
